Ashland Artisan Emporium Booth Blog – Bliss

Hello, I am Deanna Del Rosso and I am the owner of “Bliss” in The Ashland Artisan Emporium. Both my “Bliss” booths are filled with unique items ranging from home décor, furniture, vintage items, jewelry and quality clothing.

My passion for treasures began when I was a child. My parents loved Auctions and Estate Sales. My Dad always had a project in the works where his was “re-doing” an antique. Until I started my own projects, I never really appreciated all the love he put into those pieces. In my booth you will find items my husband and I have given a new life to. It has been a wonderful journey that I never saw coming until I opened “Bliss.”

We opened “Bliss” one year ago! After having a vintage style wedding 2 ½ years ago, we had accumulated many beautiful decorative, vintage pieces that we needed to re-home. Being faithful patrons of the Ashland Artisan Emporium, we decided this would be the perfect place to sell our treasures. Our booth was filled with everything from old typewriters, silver serving pieces, vintage lace, beautiful antique vases and unique quality jewelry. A year later our wedding pieces are mostly gone and we are constantly adding and changing what we offer in “Bliss.” Today you may find statuary, inspirational books, pottery, family clothing, retro, industrial, urban and antique items.

The beautiful thing about The Ashland Artisan Emporium is that you never know what you will find. Every day the inventory is changing, that is the beauty of having over 100 vendors under one roof. I find every time I am there I see something new. And if you don’t see what you are looking for just ask one of the girls working the front desk. It’s always amazing the items a customer comes in looking for and they know right where it is. Michelle Christian, the owner of Ashland Artisan Emporium, does an amazing job. She is always there to help and answer your questions or concerns. It has been a wonderful journey, and The Ashland Artisan Emporium has grown and flourished so much in the past year. We can’t wait to see what the future holds. If you haven’t visited…you are in for a treat!

It is always a good day to find your “Bliss.”

Ashland Artisan Emporium

The Ashland Artisan Emporium is owned by Michelle Christian, wife and mother of 3 daughters. Her husband, Travis, is the business manager for Adroit Construction in Ashland, Oregon. The Emporium was the vision of Michael Rydbom, Michelle's father. In April of 2010, Michael asked his daughter if she would be willing to help transform the old DJ's Video space into a crafter's marketplace. Michelle had always admired her dad's entrepreneurial spirit and was eager to make him proud, so even though she already had two kids, a real estate career and one more daughter on the way, she said yes. On November 1, 2010, the store opened it's doors to a welcome reception from the community. They were voted Best New Business of 2010 only months later by the Ashland Sneak Preview. Within weeks of opening, the store was at capacity and had quickly become the "go-to" store for all things unique and affordable.
