Ashland Artisan Emporium – The Boothtique #325

“You’re the lead of your own life story, so start dressing like the star you are!”

It’s a booth, it’s a boutique… It’s The Boothtique!

OSF Actress Christiana Clark, between her time on the Oregon Shakespeare Festival stage, this year both as Charmian in Antony & Cleopatra and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, is curator of booth 325.

Having spent time on stages, and therefore shops, in Chicago, New York, LA, DC, Minneapolis, and other major cities, Miss Clark’s passion for fashion began to o’ertake (as The Bard would say) the confines of her closet. So as of August 2014, she chose to share that style with the masses, and The Boothtique was born. Here you can find new or practically new clothing, shoes, jewelry, and other accessories from major designer labels like Genetic Denim, Calvin Klein, and Cole Haan, as well as items from national favorites like Anthropologie; all at reasonable consignment prices. Sizes range from XS to XL because like the adaptability required on stage, Christiana is every woman. One standout is her shoe collection, which due to her statuesque 6-foot frame, boasts styles in sizes 10,11, & 12 (tall girls, I got you)! It’s the perfect place to find just the right outfit for any occasion; be it a first date, wedding, job interview, or red carpet appearance.

Ashland Artisan Emporium

The Ashland Artisan Emporium is owned by Michelle Christian, wife and mother of 3 daughters. Her husband, Travis, is the business manager for Adroit Construction in Ashland, Oregon. The Emporium was the vision of Michael Rydbom, Michelle's father. In April of 2010, Michael asked his daughter if she would be willing to help transform the old DJ's Video space into a crafter's marketplace. Michelle had always admired her dad's entrepreneurial spirit and was eager to make him proud, so even though she already had two kids, a real estate career and one more daughter on the way, she said yes. On November 1, 2010, the store opened it's doors to a welcome reception from the community. They were voted Best New Business of 2010 only months later by the Ashland Sneak Preview. Within weeks of opening, the store was at capacity and had quickly become the "go-to" store for all things unique and affordable.
