Ashland Recreation Fair – Register-for-Fun!

Ashland Parks & Recreation will host its Ashland Recreation Fair on Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Grove, 1195 E Main Street in Ashland. This will be your first opportunity to Register-for-Fun for our summer programs, meet Ashland Parks & Recreation instructors and mingle with local recreation providers. Free items will be provided for the first 100 guests, including prize/raffle drawings and recreation program discounts. Don’t miss the Recreation Fair and be the first to Register-for-Fun for our Summer 2013 programs!

If you can’t make it to the May 11 fair, online registration will begin on May 12 and general registration on May 13. The Summer 2013 Recreation Guide, viewable online at www.ashland.or.us/recguide, includes direct online registration links for programs requiring registration.

Be sure to check out all of the KIDS programs offered by Ashland Parks & Recreation this summer! The Daniel Meyer Pool will host an opening day event with activities for all ages!  Open swim session from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14 – admission is only $1 per person! Come and learn about new and exciting programs at the pool this summer. Pickleball demonstrations will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the tennis courts at Hunter Park, and family-friendly relay games, hosted by Dynamic Living, will take place at Hunter Park from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Dynamic Living will also host Family Swim Relays in the pool from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kids ages 8 to 14, be sure to check out Youth Water Polo games from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For fitness enthusiasts and those looking for low-impact workouts, join a water aerobics/cross-fit demonstration class from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Daniel Meyer Pool is located at 1705 Homes Ave in Hunter Park.
