Camelot Theatre, “Where Broadway meets Talent”, is pleased to present The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown.
The Last Five Years is an intensely personal look at the relationship between writer Jamie Wellerstein and struggling actress Cathy Hiatt. The show’s unconventional structure lets Cathy tell her story backwards while Jamie tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meeting once, at their engagement and wedding in the middle of the show. Told predominately through song and from both points of view, this gem of a musical is an emotionally powerful and intimate tale about two ambitious New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years.
The Last Five Years previews September 3rd, opens September 4th and runs through October 4th. There is a special Pay What You Can performance on Wednesday, September 9th at 8 p.m. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays @ 2 p.m. Tickets are $29 for adults and $27 for students and seniors (except for Sunday matinees). Tickets can be purchased in person or by phone at the Company Box Office (541-535-5250) or online at www.CamelotTheatre.org.T
