In my hypnotherapy practice I have helped many cancer patients come to terms with their disease and lead a happier life. I have also seen people get better. In his fabulous book, “Getting Well Again,” O. Carl Simonton, MD talks about his cancer clinic and how he had his patients use visualization techniques to rid themselves of cancer. I use the same practices that Carl used and have seen amazing results. A few years ago I helped a woman with an aggressive brain tumor. The tumor was growing and growing and she was given less than a year. After 8 weeks of hypnosis the MRI showed that the tumor had shrunk. The last I heard she was still alive 3 years later and driving her car again which she had been told would never happen. Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool that cancer patients can use in conjunction with professional medical treatment.

CAREGIVERS NEED HYPNOSIS TOO
I raise my hat to all of the Caregivers who are mostly overlooked for the amount of work that they put forth to the people they are caring for. We are talking about husbands, wives, friends, nurses, social workers, doctors, children, siblings and all the others that give of themselves so unselfishly. These wonderful people could definitely benefit from a hypnosis session or two. I help caregivers deal with stress, overcome burnout, let go of angry or guilty feelings, communication and anything else that comes up. I do offer group sessions for caregivers at a reduced price, so if you are interested please email me at Kelly@kellymcloughlin.com.
