Happy New Year

Happy New Year from the coaches and staff here at CrossFit Ashland!  2014 has been an amazing year of growth for us here at CrossFit Ashland and we are eagerly looking forward to sharing the coming year with our new and seasoned athletes.  If you are anything like me, the holiday season can wreak havoc on our bodies.  With a plethora of snacks and sweets, holiday parties, large family dinners, travel destinations, and a little (or a lot) of extra stress, we often exit the holiday season just a wee bit heavier than we entered it.

New Year’s resolutions are often well meant but with our increasingly busy lives they can be challenging to stick to.  At CrossFit Ashland we can help you achieve and stick with your New Year’s goals.  We are a community of likeminded individuals all pursing the goal to become our own personal best.  We offer our members one-on-one and group fitness, nutritional, and lifestyle coaching to help you determine and achieve your goals.  Our classes are small and specifically designed to help make you stronger, leaner and more athletic.  Our friendly CrossFit certified trainers are motivated to teach you the exercise techniques you need to get a fun, safe, and effective workout in under an hour.  All you have to do is show up and we’ll take care of the rest!

So what is CrossFit?  It is defined as constantly varied, functional movement executed at high intensity.  Every day is a little different.  We use multiple modes of combined training including, but not limited to, Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, plyometrics, endurance, and sprints.  We hold group classes six days a week.  Our athletes are people just like you.  We have members from all walks of life including endurance athletes, stay at home moms, those just getting started in their fitness journey, senior community members, and kids.  The only requirement for participation is a desire and commitment towards a better you.

Now is the perfect time to start!  We are currently accepting new clients at our south Ashland location.  If you are serious about getting into the best shape of your life, we would like to invite you to schedule a baseline with one of our coaches.  The baseline appointment is a time where you can meet one-on-one with one of our coaches to discuss your goals.  We put you through a short work out so we can see how you move and discuss any physical limitations or concerns you may have.
