Home Instead Senior Care

IT ALL STARTED WITH OUR FOUNDERS
Home Instead Senior Care co-Founders, Paul and Lori Hogan’s own experience in caring for Paul’s eighty-nine year old grandmother in her home for 12 years inspired them to launch Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. Realizing that there were other families like theirs that needed help to keep their loved ones safely living at home, they have devoted themselves to making home care available throughout the United States and around the world. It’s what they know and love, and their services allow them to make a real difference to communities, families and individuals everywhere.

CARING IS WHAT WE DO
The Hogans’ goal has always been to provide the highest-quality care in the industry, and your local team shares the same vision of being your trusted partner in care.  Every Home Instead Senior Care franchise owner has demonstrated a real commitment to caring for seniors and derives personal satisfaction by responding to this critical need that is growing so rapidly. Our CAREGivers are the residents of our local area who are carefully screened, fully bonded and insured.  Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training; we place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well-being and support the senior’s needs with respect and dignity.

YOUR LOCAL FRANCHISE OWNER
I moved to the Rogue Valley in 1996; I just fell in love with the beauty of this area, and it is a perfect place to raise a family.  After being a stay-at-home mom and substitute teaching for nearly ten years, I decided it was time to begin a new journey. I wanted a challenging, yet rewarding career that would fulfill my desire to make a difference and find a purpose in this life. I got both! In November, 2005, I opened the Grants Pass Home Instead Senior Care franchise, and in February, 2008, I purchased an existing Home Instead Senior Care office in Medford (originally opened in July, 2003).

My work gives me the opportunity to meet wonderful people and to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and their families. I enjoy the challenge of owning a business and have a passion for helping others. I love the Rogue Valley and believe it’s important to give back to our community. Home Instead participates in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk to help raise money for Alzheimer’s education and awareness.  We offer free Alzheimer’s workshops for family caregivers who are struggling to provide care for a loved one. Home Instead’s ‘Be a Santa to a Senior’ program is designed to bring joy (and a gift!) to financially challenged and isolated seniors during the holiday season.
