Introducing “Reloved,” Booth #393

Greetings, my name is Laura Rufi. I have been a part of the Ashland community for the last 25 years. It has been a wonderful and supportive place to raise my two children as a single mother while working a full time job. My children are grown now, but during my years as a single parent I learned how to be creative and live frugally. This soon grew into a passion for reusing, recycling and shopping locally.

Three years ago my life took a timely transition. I was laid off from my job and shortly afterwards my first grandchild was born. I was embarking on a new journey as grandmother and co-parent to my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter Nya. In addition, I now have a five month old grandson Cooper and am expecting another grandson any day now.

I became truly passionate about buying and selling second hand clothing. It is also satisfying to know that I am contributing to our community by recycling and being conscientious about our environment.

I was quickly reminded how fast these little ones outgrow their clothes and need new ones! It is so fun and rewarding to pass them on to friends and local families in our community. That’s when it hit me: why not have fun with this and open a little space to make a small income for myself while supporting other families in our community?

At Reloved, I sell gently-used children’s clothing newborn – 5T. The clothes are kept current with the seasons and I update and replenish my inventory every other day. I also have items made by local mamas and am passionate to promote locally made children’s items.

I acquire my inventory through direct buying, so if you are interested in selling your little ones clothing give me a call. I’m happy to do in home appointments if that makes it easier for you.

To schedule an appointment to sell your children’s clothing please call: 541-646-6022

Ashland Artisan Emporium

The Ashland Artisan Emporium is owned by Michelle Christian, wife and mother of 3 daughters. Her husband, Travis, is the business manager for Adroit Construction in Ashland, Oregon. The Emporium was the vision of Michael Rydbom, Michelle's father. In April of 2010, Michael asked his daughter if she would be willing to help transform the old DJ's Video space into a crafter's marketplace. Michelle had always admired her dad's entrepreneurial spirit and was eager to make him proud, so even though she already had two kids, a real estate career and one more daughter on the way, she said yes. On November 1, 2010, the store opened it's doors to a welcome reception from the community. They were voted Best New Business of 2010 only months later by the Ashland Sneak Preview. Within weeks of opening, the store was at capacity and had quickly become the "go-to" store for all things unique and affordable.
