Saturday, August 9th from 7:30 am to mid-afternoon
Board an air conditioned tour bus at the Co-op to visit one of the loveliest farms around! Spend the morning with owners Chi and Michelle Scherer followed by lunch in their orchard prepared from food grown on the farm.
Cost is $35 for Co-op owners and $40 for the general public. Children under 12 are $5.

Summertime Inspiration from the Co-op’s Recipe Box
Whether you shop at the Co-op, have a CSA or cruise the Growers & Crafters Markets, this is the season of bountiful harvest. Your kitchen counters are probably brimming with zucchini, tomatoes, corn, berries, melons and peaches.
Let us help you find new ways to prepare seasonal favorites. We love our two newest recipes for zucchini: a crispy chip coated with parmesan cheese or, for brunch, try zucchini bread pancakes with fresh peach slices.
Now that our bulk section has Certified Organic masa, we’re going crazy with new soft taco recipes like our Charred Corn Tacos with Fresh Garden Slaw. Stop by the Culinary Kiosk Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 pm or Saturday mornings at 11am, for a taste and get a new summertime recipe to share with family and friends!
