Let’s have a FEAST!

Would you like to see change happen around food and farming issues in your community?
If you would like to work towards strengthening our food system then come to the Ashland FEAST on Saturday, May 12th. The FEAST will be from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at Bellview Grange located at 1050 Tolman Creek Road Ashland, OR
The FEAST is a community organizing workshop that provides an opportunity to strengthen existing food related projects, launch new projects with community support and involvement and identify food needs, resources and opportunities. At this gathering we will be addressing issues throughout the food system. What is a food system? It’s the sum of all activities required to make food available to people. This includes; production, processing, distribution, consumption, and waste.
This event is free and open to everyone with registration, from farmers and ranchers to consumers. There will be a free meal served for dinner that will feature locally produced foods.
Registration is necessary by Wednesday, May 9th. To register please call or email Hannah Ancel at 541-618-4019, hancel@accesshelps.org.

This event is coordinated by ACCESS, Thrive, and the Oregon Food Bank.
