IASIS MicroCurrent Neurofeedback and Anxiety

Here is a recent testimonial from a very inspiring client, Sue M., Medford

“Neurofeedback gave me an overall calm that was unexpected. I was hoping that it would address the anxiety and panic attacks that I was having (and it did), but besides helping with the anxiety and panic attacks, it gave me a sense of calmness and comfort. I did not have the general “nervous buzzing” that I had before that was so uncomfortable and would keep me awake at night and would heighten my anxiety.  So, that went away.

I didn’t realize any of this, however, until later. Although I had never experienced Neurofeedback before, I expected to experience some relief immediately, and it was slow, and subtle, but what it gave me was this sense of peace and comfort, and I wasn’t expecting anything like that. So in a positive way, it blew my expectations and it gave me joy and pleasure because I was able to breathe a huge sigh of relief knowing that I would be able to manage any future anxiety and panic attacks. That was the icing on the cake, because it gave me power and helped me focus. The fear of having a panic attack was the most awful, painful part. People who have never experienced a panic attack, and you try to explain it, they simply don’t get it. You have to have gone through the experience of being totally out of control and being unable at any moment to breathe normally, to focus or refocus. You are just a complete and utter MESS! What I felt after I had the series of treatments was this ability to focus, ability to have much more confidence in myself, and (freedom from) the fear of having another major panic attack. It wasn’t just one, I’d have like five or six panic attacks a night. Suzanne, knowing that I could go to bed at night and not be awakened by a panic attack was worth all the money in the world, I am not kidding you. You can’t put a price on it. I am so glad that I had the sessions. The long-term effects are awesome.”
