On Friday, May 15, 2009, The Craterian Theater, for the 7th year in a
row, is bringing the community sing-along band VIVA VOCE to its main stage for a Spring concert geared for the whole family.  The concert is free of charge, with general seating, and guarantees a great time for all ages. The evening summons the innocent energy of a time past, but well remembered, that puts a smile on the face of our audience.  As a bridge to those pleasant memories we perform audience sing-alongs featuring tunes from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.  All ages enjoy this night of singing old favorites; songs we grew up to, fell in love to, grew stronger by, were empowered by, humored by, touched by, awakened by…  You will be familiar with many, if not all, of them.  The audience requests songs from a list of over 100 titles.

The Craterian Theater offers this concert as a community-building event and welcomes the residents of the Rogue Valley as their guests for this night of nostalgia, laughter, music and song.  All seats are free; all ages are welcome.

The music is contagious and familiar, the joy of community singing fills the
air, the inclusiveness of the evening is heartwarming, the fact that the
Craterian gives this show away for free is honorable, and the backgrounds of the musicians on stage are varied and unusual.

VIVA VOCE includes:  Tish McFadden, Brian Freeman, Don Harriss, Mike Vediner, Steve Fain, Lynn Fain, Rick Soued and Joanne Soued.

Doors open at 6:30pm on Friday, May 15, and curtain is at 7pm.
