Ashland needs to look where money is flowing out of the community and take steps to support those needs within the community and keep that money here. There are also options such as a micro-credit program to give people small startup loans, programs to connect business people with artists to collaborate on business opportunities, local business management groups, and to invest in infrastructure that will make it more attractive for people to bring their businesses here. We should also be collaborating with local and regional groups who are already at work on this issue.
