How do you feel about the recent decision of City Council to not to connect Ashland city water to the Medford water supply?

How do you feel about the recent decision of City Council to not to connect Ashland city water to the Medford water supply?

Having been part of the City Council that made the initial decision to upsize the TAP pipeline to accommodate a future connection, I am not supportive of the decision to not fund our share of the engineering costs.  I have always felt we should continue to move forward on this project as an emergency backup system, while continuing to increase our highly successful conservation measures.
