What and incredible year 2013 has been for us here at Paddington Station and The Paddington Jewel Box. From celebrating Paddington’s 40th anniversary, our award winning entry in the 4th of July parade, our Girl’s Night In Parties, our monthly children’s collaborative events, the annual Open House festivity and finally celebrating The Paddington Jewel Boxes’ winning of 2013 Vera Bradley Golden Tote Award — a national honor for us and the Ashland Chamber of Commerce’s Retail Business of the Year for 2013.
Thanks to our wonderful preferred customers, we were able to donate over $6,000.00 to Rogue Valley nonprofits including The Ashland Schools Foundation, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Food Bank, Ashland Community Hospital, Camelot Theatre and many other organizations. If you aren’t a preferred customer, just stop in and sign up. It is free to join, and in addition to 2% of your purchases going to Rogue Valley non-profits you will receive special treats from us throughout the year.
What do we have planned for you in 2014? We hope to continue delight you with some of the best brands in the gift, home and fashion industry. We will continue to seek compelling local products and companies. Some of our current successes include Pacifica, Bella Union and Tussie Mussie bath products all made in Oregon. Bernie Dexter dresses are cut and sewn in Portland. Baggallini, and Hydro Flask are Oregon Companies. We promise to strive to be your hometown store with a friendly staff that really cares about your shopping experience. Remember we are open until eight at night Tuesday through Saturday and we have beautiful complimentary gift wrapping.
The success of the year has to be credited to an amazing and loyal staff! What a great team and family we have here. We would like to thank all of our staff for their ongoing work, dedication and for bringing their own special gifts to the table on a constant and consistent basis.
