Press For Oil, in downtown Ashland, offers over 30 premium extra virgin organic olive oils (including our current Chetoui extra virgin olive oil from Tunisia, which has a biophenol content of 828.6) & 35+ balsamic vinegars, both red & white, and they are all available to taste. Try before you buy!
Our quaint store on Main Street also proudly carries products from our local artisans such as: Inspired Leaf Teas, The Bee Store, Holm Toffee, Wildwood Chocolates, Vintner’s Kitchen (we carry a variety of their delicious salts, jams, mustards & rubs), and wine from some of our favorite local wineries: RoxyAnn Winery in Medford, Trium Winery in Talent, & Kriselle Cellars in White City. I have personally hand-selected all the wines so I can honestly say, they are all worth buying!
Bottle refill dates for the next 3 months are as follows:
Aug 15th between 4:00–6:00 pm (Friday)
Sept 12th between 4:00–6:00 pm (Friday)
Oct 10th between 4:00–6:00 pm (Friday)
As a reminder, our premium non-flavored extra virgin olive oils do change regularly, so we may not have the exact flavor you want refilled—but I will do my best to fill an alternative flavor if needed. Additional things to note: olive oil is very sensitive and cannot have any water in the bottles when being refilled. Balsamic vinegars are a bit less finicky but should be rinsed and dried so as not to taint any of the fabulous flavors.
Please note: this will only be to refill Press For Oil bottles and for the flavor listed on that bottle—unless, as mentioned above, the flavor is not available. I will not be refilling any other bottles. We will offer a 10% discount on refilled bottles. Please remember this is a new offering, so please be understanding of the offered days, times & product availability.
Aug 1st (First Friday) – Robbie DaCosta will be performing at the store from 6:00–8:00, and he is most definitely a store & fan favorite. He plays a variety of original and cover music and always seems to have some friends come in and perform with him a song or two. During the show, I will be pouring wine samples from Kriselle Cellars (White City), and you can also purchase a glass for $5 and sit upstairs while enjoying the music.
If one glass won’t suffice, bottles of Kriselle wines can also be purchased for a 10% discount during the show—so you can keep the fun going during the show and/or all weekend! A good time to be had with great music & great wine!!
As the temperatures have started heating up, it’s important to stay hydrated—and a tasty way to do that is by making a simple mocktail consisting of a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and soda water. Some summer favorites, including a few of our new flavors, are the pink guava, strawberry kiwi, and our newest addition: watermelon balsamic, which all I can say is—wow, that is amazing!
