Each month I have the honor of speaking with many different people from around the area. Not only do I get to learn what they are doing… but I get to catch a brief glimpse behind the scenes of WHY they are doing what they do!
I can’t tell you how much I enjoy this, because the reasons “why” people do what they do are always different that we might expect or guess. Then it becomes even more interesting when you give them an opportunity to tell this story of “WHY”.
We all want to know “why”, it’s the most basic of all human questions and a huge reason “why” I myself created the LocalsGuide paper. After all as the National Enquirer so aptly described:
“Inquiring Minds Want To Know”.
And what better to know more about that your own community, the people who live within and all the interesting things they do. Sure… I could rant and rave about my own political opinions, the news and, how much the fine should be for people feeding the deer in town… and don’t you have better things to do?
Each month I promise to surprise with you with at least one new detail about your community which you didn’t know before. My hope is to inspire you towards new forms of media which empower individuals within communities to have an individual voice.
