Review of Brothers Restaurant in Ashland

Brothers Restaurant is located at 95 N. Main just off the plaza. Offering an eclectic menu with breakfast served all day. Upon entering the restaurant there is a colorful board listing the Specials of the Day.

Arriving with my three dining companions before ten am we had our choice of seating. We seated ourselves upstairs in a room that was bright and open.  Our server was friendly but distant. Our meals were delivered quickly, and the presentation was fresh. I ordered the #9 omelet (guacamole, tomatoes and cheddar) made with 3 eggs served with hash browns, English muffin. My omelet was yummy. The hash browns were a little too crisp for my taste.
Two of my dining companions ordered French toast made with thick sliced multi-grain bread. One thoroughly enjoyed his meal while the other repeated ‘I want a do over’.  My third companion was thrilled to find Huevos con Chorizo (scrambled eggs served with Mexican sausage with cheddar cheese and green onions) on the menu, but thought the Chorizo tasted more like Italian sausage. The portions were plenty.

As we were paying our bill our server reappeared and was a bit more animated. Will I go back?
You bet… I heard the lunches are the best.

The food and the service are rated jointly.
