Hey guess what? You know that cool new shop in the Ashland Shopping Center? Well, we are officially no longer “new”! We are celebrating our 6th year in business, and if you haven’t been in yet, what are you waiting for? An invitation? Ok, well here it is:
We cordially invite you to our 6th ANNUAL ANNIVERSARY PARTY AND STOREWIDE SALE ON NOVEMBER 12TH from 11 to 6.
Not only will EVERYTHING in the store be at LEAST 15% off, but we will be serving wine and food from 3:00 to 6:00 and hosting the live musical stylings of Danielle Kelly & Paul Turnipseed. They are a lovely duo ripping it up on acoustic guitar while Danielle blows it away with jazz soul and blues vocals. If you haven’t heard them in person, this is worth the trip alone. The ever-stylish Izzy Brann will be manning the bar, so come say hi to her. She’ll make sure you get your fair share of vino and have a ton of fun, but no one will be leaving here drunk.
Each year this event gets bigger and bigger and better and better. It started as a birthday party of sorts the first year,and has become so popular, we plan our entire year around it. We recommend coming a few days before to scout out the items you want and then coming early on the day of the sale to grab them early. Expect lines and be patient, but who cares if you have a glass of wine in your hand and some cool jazz in the background?
I want to sincerely thank the community and the many, many vendors that have supported this endeavor from the beginning and over these past 6 years. It has been the wildest ride full of ups and downs, but it’s all been worth it just to see the friendships that have been born here. This party makes me sentimental every year; after all, this business is like my child and to see her grow up and mature makes me so proud.
So, if you can, please come in and say hi! We would love to see you all. Your patrongage means so much to all of us. All of your dollars stay local. We are family owned and operated and made possible only by local creative people here in Ashland. So feel good about doing your holiday shopping here!
