Well then, I got about 8 letters today, which always makes my day. One letter however was from a man in Ghana, West Africa. He asked me to send him an IPOD, along with asking me if I would marry him cause the first time he saw my profile on the pen pal web site, he KNEW I was the one. Ummmm, yeeaaah, Riiight. Sorry, But do I look that stupid?!?!?! Uh, No. I get several letters like these a year. If you go to any pen pal web site, (for snail mail pals or email for that matter) you will notice the same request in nearly all the ads. “No Africa” or No Ghana, etc etc. The above mentioned letter is the reason why. Its insane. I once had a younger boy (he was like 13 years old) write me and tell me (thats right, TOLD ME!!!) to send him 40,000,000,000 cause he knows that “all americans are kind rich and generous.” Dude, I’m getting $177 a week in UNEMPLOYMENT. I barely have enough for myself right now, I mean come on!!!!! Ah well, just one of them things…..
