All Marketers Are Liars
Seth Godin is a brilliant provocateur. I haven’t read the book, but the title has lodged itself in my head. I’ve also read enough of Seth Godin to get the gist from the title. In fact, the paperback version gives it away in the subtitle of “All Marketers Tell Stories.”
We’re all telling stories. Some have more truth than others. What stories are we selling? Perhaps more importantly, what stories are we buying?
I’m trying to do less selling (i.e., storytelling) and more doing.
I got a great Mary Oliver quote in my email this morning:
“May I be the tiniest nail in the house of the universe, tiny but useful.”
Maybe I should read more poetry…
Short and sweet this time. Until next month…
