Hi! I’m Megan, founder of Luminous Well-Being, and I wanted to share on a more personal note with you today.
From the time I was young, I felt this deep pull toward healing. At one point, I dreamed of opening a clinic in the jungles of Africa. Instead, at 17, I found myself volunteering in Nicaragua, in one of the poorest communities I’d ever seen—home to families uprooted by war, floods, and earthquakes, where people lived with almost nothing but carried immense resilience in their hearts. That experience shook me to my core. The culture shock of arriving was intense—but returning home was even more devastating. I struggled to make sense of the vast inequality I had witnessed. That pain and confusion cracked me open—and planted the seeds for a lifelong commitment to being a healing presence in the world.
I didn’t know it then, but those early humanitarian stirrings would one day lead me to acupuncture. This medicine felt like a way to honor my desire to serve while offering something beautiful, ancient, and profoundly effective—without doing harm. To me, acupuncture is not just about needles—it’s about helping people return home to themselves.
I specialize in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Holistic Facial Rejuvenation. But it’s not just about the face—it’s about how you feel in your body, your energy, and your spirit. I work mostly with women, especially those in midlife, who are navigating changes in their appearance, hormones, and sense of identity. Women who might look in the mirror and not recognize themselves anymore. Women who are tired of covering up, chasing quick fixes, or feeling invisible.
