Sweetbriar Gardens and Events is located in the Ashland Artisan Emporium (Space #248). We offer decor for all event needs from weddings to baby showers. We offer flowers, containers, household decor, bird nests, ring bearer pillows, furniture, signs, faux birds, metal hearts and so much more. Most items can be special ordered for your unique needs. Sweetbriar Events additionally offers event design and planning for any occasion.
Ever since I can remember, I have had a strong passion and love for designing and event planning. As a youngster, I loved to decorate our home and organize anything that seemed out of order (most everything to me). I would create parties and events for my friends and stuffed animals whenever possible. When I was at an impressionable age, my single mother moved us from suburbia Connecticut to the Middle East and eventually on to other locations in Europe. These adventures all helped to make an impact on my appreciation of cultures and traditions.
I received my Interior Design Degree with honors in the Bay Area and I continue my love affair with the design and event business. I love to organize and help others create special events in their lives. After watching Jennifer Lopez in “The Wedding Planner,” I knew that her character was who I aspired to become although, I think I already had some of the quirks like being somewhat OCD and being overly organized!
Living in the Rogue Valley has undoubtedly encouraged more creativity and inspiration than I have ever felt before. From our stunning mountains to our vibrant rivers, creating venues that are beautiful and that offer tribute to our surroundings is not only an honor but a joy. All of these moments in time have lead me to this point where I feel that I have developed my craft and can confidently call myself a true Alchemist in Interior Design and Event Planning.
Sweetbriar Events offers everything from concept and planning to the actual creation of an event. Our goal is to take the pressure off of the client and allow them to enjoy themselves while we make each event an amazing experience to both clients and guests. We strive to ensure that each and every event will be uniquely memorable and ultimately incredible.
