Hello! I’m Melanie from Waterleaf Farm. You may have caught last month’s article about U-Pick Flowers. I run a flower farm and flower healing business dedicated to helping people connect and heal with plants, especially flowers.
As autumn arrives, one of my greatest joys is bringing people together for wreath-making workshops. We craft with dried flowers—often called everlasting flowers, as their beauty brightens our spaces for years.
All summer, we’ve harvested blooms to preserve for the winter months. Creating with the crops is a wonderful way to reflect and give thanks for summer’s bounty. Living with nature’s cycles brings us connection, wonder, and belonging.
Throughout this fall, I’ll host several Floral Wreath Making classes across the Valley, mostly in Wineries. Imagine crafting a unique masterpiece in a cozy, beautiful setting surrounded by friendly faces. It’s fun and meaningful—everyone leaves happy and proud of their creation. After over 50 classes, I’ve seen it time and again!

Year-round, we also host private Flower Parties for team-building and celebrations. Choose from bouquet arranging, wreath, or crown making. Surrounded by the beauty of the flowers, you’ll find it easy to connect with each other. We host at the farm or bring the party to your venue.
Fresh flower season runs until the first frost. Pick your own flowers or grab a ready-made bouquet before the blooms go back to the earth for the winter.
