The Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink is open! The rink is located in Lithia Park at 95 Winburn Way. We hope you can experience one of the most magical places in Ashland… that little outdoor rink in beautiful Lithia Park, where the air is fresh, and the white lights are twinkling. Do you have a bike in need of a new home? Bike donations are needed in preparation for the Rogue Valley Bike Swap. Donated bikes will be fixed up and sold at the Bike Swap to support local youth bike education or distributed to aid organizations. Donations are welcome at the Grove, 1195 E Main St, Ashland on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bikes should be in working order, but those in need of some repairs are welcome. To donate at another time, or with questions and concerns please contact Sulaiman Shelton, Volunteer and Special Event Coordinator for APRC, 541.552.2264, Sulaiman.shelton@ashland.or.us.
VOLUNTEER…
Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink — Volunteers are needed at the Ashland Ice Rink! Volunteers help young skaters, keep the rink welcoming, and assist with events. Weekend and afternoon shifts are available. Volunteers earn free skate passes, and students earn community service hours. No skating experience needed.
Bike Maintenance Work Parties — Come volunteer to fix up bikes at the Grove, 1195 E Main St, every Wednesday afternoon, 1:30-4:30 p.m. All experience levels are welcome. Bikes are distributed to local aid organizations and low-income residents of the area and sold at the Bike Swap to help raise funds for bike safety education in the Rogue Valley.
