Artists are wanted to decorate a children’s table which will be auctioned as a fundraiser for Rogue Gallery’s education program and Kid’s Time. The tables are 29†wide and 46 ½ “ long, and 22-24 “ tall, and solid wood. The theme for the tables is “A Journey into the World of Fantasyâ€. Artists will be provided with tables and paint and assorted supplies, and can bring any specialty supplies with them to the open studio day. Artists are asked to register to participate through Rogue Gallery & Art Center (holly@roguegallery.org or 40 South Bartlett St Medford OR). Artist’s are asked to please designs appropriate for children ages 3-6, and refrain from affixing items which could be a choking hazard. Artists will be invited to a collective studio day on April 19th at the Rogue Gallery & Art Center to work on your table projects (which we hope to have the media attend). The tables will then be displayed around Medford, and at 3rd Friday at the Rogue Gallery and Art in Bloom (May 9th and 10th) in the Kid Time tent- at both these events, there will be an opportunity for the public to vote on a “Children’s Choice†which will receive a prize, as will the runner’s up. Tables will be auctioned off at the Kid’s Time Birthday Bash on May 20th with proceeds benefiting RGAC education program and Kid’s Time.
