Mamma Mia! Is Coming to the Oregon Cabaret Theatre on June 6th

Running from June 6th to August 18th, Mamma Mia! brings the music of ABBA and a beautiful romantic story to the Cabaret stage.

The Story

Sophie is ready to get married to her fiancée Sky, except for one thing – she has never met her father and wants him present for the big day. She invites three men that she discovers in her mother’s diary and believes to be candidates, but when they all arrive, Sophie’s mother Donna becomes distressed. As Sophie, Sky, Donna, her friends, and the three potential fathers collide on the big day, emotions run high, secrets are revealed, and an old flame is rekindled.

The Music

Features more than 20 iconic songs from Swedish superband ABBA, including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Voulez Vous, Lay All Your Love on Me, and Honey, Honey.

The Cast

Broadway veterans Amy Bodnar and Tiffany Cooper join Cabaret favorites Tony Carter (Baskerville, Rocky Horror, Pine Mountain Lodge, Musical of Musicals), Shae Celine (The Wonderettes, Beehive) Lucas Blair (Pine Mountain Lodge, Drowsy Chaperone, Bat Boy, The All Night Strut), Paul Michael Garcia (Cabaret, Noises Off, Picasso at the Lapin Agile), Jake Delaney (The Drowsy Chaperone, 9 to 5, Chicago), and Alex Boyles (Avenue Q, Rocky Horror). Local favorites Rebecca Campbell and Caitlyn Rae Campbell make their Oregon Cabaret debut along with fellow newcomers Lea Sevola, Tim Fullerton, Wesley Carpenter, and Adam Biner.

Content Guide

Mamma Mia! features some mild sexual innuendo, alcohol references, and a few discussions of who Sophie’s father could be based on an old journal of her mother’s. There is no profanity or nudity. Were it a move, it would be rated PG.
