Ring of Fire- The Music of Johnny Cash

Now playing at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre: Ring of Fire – The Music of Johnny Cash. From the Man in Black’s iconic songbook comes this unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, home and family.

Though Johnny Cash is never impersonated, his remarkable life story is told through his music, climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate! More than two dozen classic hits—including “I Walk The Line,” “A Boy Named Sue,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” and the title tune “Ring of Fire” — paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin’, crowd-pleasin’ salute to an American legend.

What the critics are saying:

“As a whole, Ring Of Fire is a loving tribute to one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. With a tight-knit group of musicians and a responsive audience working hard to honor his legacy, Johnny Cash can continue to happily roll around heaven, all day.” – Jeffrey Gillespie, Ashland Daily Tidings

“I dare you to try to keep from tapping your toes.” – Kathleen Alaks, Grants Pass Daily Courier

“[a] vibrant, five-person show… what emerges from all this is an expansive portrait of Cash’s America, a place of poverty and chance, humor and pathos, sin and redemption.” – Bill Varble, Medford Mail Tribune
