” Come One , Come All “. . .We are starting our very 1st Annual Chalk Art & Music Festival here in downtown Medford Ore.
“PEOPLE ROUND THE WORLD.” is our 1st year Artist Theme.
BARTLETT will be blocked off starting Friday eve at 6:00 pm on June 22nd, to set up for weekend event.
At that time we will begin to prepare the street with 8×8 ft. squares, for the chalk artwork to be performed by artists, we also will make room for small taped off 2 x 2 ft. squares that will line the street for our community to bring out their ‘ little chalkers’, which parents may bring to participate , a small donation will be required to cover costs of materials. . . Our event will begin at 9:00 am til 5pm on Saturday. Same on Sunday . During the event both days , we will also be selling Tickets for the Public to vote for their favorite Artist’ Chalk Rendering which will qualify for the “Peoples Choice Award”. The sale of t-shirts & some artist prints of the featured art piece will also be available. Come out & enjoy bands , solos & duos for Musical entertainment .We should have a few vendors to add to our event.
On Sunday , artists should have artwork completed by 5pm. Then we will be announcing raffle for art print & tallying the votes for the “People’s Choice Award” 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. concluding event by 5:30 Sunday pm. We are a non-profit event . At this time we are still interested in Sponsors & Donations. We will add them to any or all advertisements to our event . Although Deadlines are closing in on printed Items.
