Explore the Societal and Sociological Impacts of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is quickly reshaping industries, education, economies, and human interactions worldwide. To help southern Oregon communities prepare for these rapidly coming changes, RVML Community Resource Center presents the Approaching AI Summit on March 21-22 at Southern Oregon University.
This two-day, in-person event is part of RVML’s Architects of the New Paradigm Conference Series. ANP’s productions are large, multi-day, immersive events delving into complex and controversial topics that are shaping Humanity’s future.
ANP’s March 2025 event brings together top thought leaders, policymakers, educators, along with community members to discuss AI’s rapid entry into our lives and how communities can navigate this transformative era responsibly, efficiently, and creatively.
A Community Forum, Not a Tech Conference

AI is no longer a futuristic concept, it is deeply embedded in our present reality. From chatbots assisting customers to AI-generated art and music and machine learning, artificial intelligence is redefining creativity, productivity, and human interaction. However, as AI’s role expands, so do the concerns surrounding bias, misinformation, ethics, labor replacement, ‘deep fakes,’ cryptography, and more.

• How can AI be integrated into society in ways that benefit humanity rather than replace it?
• What safeguards are needed to ensure AI is used ethically and responsibly?
• How can businesses and communities adapt to AI-driven transformations without losing the human element?
• What are the opportunities for creative collaboration between AI and humans?
