An Invitation from a Modern Faery

News Alert:  Time Travel Device Discovered by Secret Book Club
TreeHouse’s Secret Book Club has discovered a Time Travel Artifact at Ashland Springs Hotel. Ashland kids will use the artifact as part of the writing and goal-setting community game Time Travel Portal: Choose the Future beginning March 31.

The community is invited to play along. Stop by TreeHouse Books at 15 North Main St to pick up your Time Travel Game board (free) or Kit ($). The Game board uses the hero’s journey storyline to guide players to write a story and/or achieve a goal within 30 days. April game play will feature a daily writing or goal-setting prompt. The Secret Book Club will also post weekly video clues on their website TheSecretBookClub.org
Check out the list of their favorite TIME TRAVEL BOOKS there as well.

This is the first community game hosted by the Secret Book Club. Future games include:
Monkey Mind Trainer: Choose your Thoughts
Storytellers Theater: Choose Happiness
Power Pet Prom: Choose Love
Action Hero School: Choose Health

The Secret Book Club answers the question: What happens when the world of books and imagination merges with ordinary reality? The Secret Book Club is writing the fictional adventures of a secret club, whose young members discover doorways into a Secret World, where invisible energies create the future of our world.

Books do much more than entertain.  They teach us real life skills using the classic hero’s journey—the path of setting a goal or intention, gaining allies and tools, confronting obstacles and bringing what we learn on our adventure back into our community to share. The community gets to share in the fun when each new Portal Game is unlocked by the club and play their way to creating a better world for us all.
