Is Your Pain in the Neck Giving you a Headache?
No, not him… real migraines / headaches from real neck issues. Migraines are a neurologic disorder that can incapacitate its victim. The attacks often involve one or more of the following symptoms: throbbing, visual disturbance, sound sensitivity, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tingling, and numbness to name a few. It is often associated with anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, poor performance at work and school. Attacks can last from 2 – 72 hours and vary in intensity. It is thought that 1 in 4 US households have someone that suffers with this affliction. So, if you are not the one suffering, there is a good chance you know someone that is suffering. In the United States, every 10 seconds there is a migraine related emergency room visit. Greater than 90% of people that suffer from an episode are unable to work or function during an attack. Although extremely prevalent, there has often been little hope for this enormous population of suffers outside a palliative “pill to pop” to try and manage the severity of the symptoms (simultaneously adversely affecting vital organs)… until now.
“I have had chronic migraines since I was a kid and they were to the level where you contemplate whether life is really worth living. I had seen doctors, neurologists, multiple chiropractors, and had an MRI scheduled. Having been to the emergency room 3 times in the past year I figured I would try one more chiropractor. He took one look at an X-ray, and said he saw the problem. After a few adjustments I was virtually migraine free. He did these very odd pressure things on my neck and no cracking the bones. It’s called NUCCA and is magic. If you’ve tried everything, try this!”- Mary Medina
