Thankful and Grateful…
This is the time of year we all pause to reflect on our friends, our lives and our families. We look back on accomplishments, successes and even failures and consider what we have learned from our experiences. Often there is someone that influenced a decision or a choice we made and we are thankful for them. We consider how important they are to us and we will always be grateful.
For the Mountain Meadows 55+ Community, we are celebrating 20 years of excellence in 2016. The first single family home was completed in 1996 and we are still exceeding expectations today in 2016. This amazing community is on 27 beautiful acres –mature trees, lush 4-acre park, clubhouse with private dining room, fitness/wellness center and so much more. The homes and condominiums are designed to help with our aging process – wide hallways, raised dishwashers, strategically placed grab bars, raised electrical outlets and entries with no steps – all one level to make transitioning from room to room so much easier.
The community is owned and governed by the residents who proudly say “We Own It, We Run It, We Love It”. There is no corporation here. There are committees, special task forces and governing boards that work together for the sustainability of the community into the future. There is an onsite management company and caring staff members who look forward to helping and working with the residents. There is an on-site real estate company with very experienced real estate brokers who know the Mountain Meadows community better than anyone. They help residents find the home that fits their needs and even a lot of their wants… they are friendly, personable, knowledgeable and helpful.
When you meet Mountain Meadows residents at a Shakespeare Play, or at the local food co-op they are happy to tell you about where they live. They are grateful for such a well thought-out community where they own a piece of paradise and it becomes part of their estate. They are thankful for the usefulness and design of the home they live in and that developers had the foresight to think about all the little things. They are in control of their lives; they are involved; they are committed to the continued future of the community and they, most of all, are so very Thankful and Grateful to live in such a beautiful and unique community –Mountain Meadows 55+ in Ashland, Oregon.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Mountain Meadows!
