“Fun, it’s in our Nature!” November 2020 Edition

Our 2020 Autumn PlayGuide is available online at AshlandParksandRec.org. Due to COVID-19, the PlayGuide will only be available in digital format. In addition, all fall programs will take place outside or virtually. We want to be able to communicate with you effectively and email is the best way to do so, especially with virtual programming and being able to send you the link to access your class! Visit ashland.or.us/Register and click on the green button, “Register Online,” and follow the steps provided on our registration page. When registering, please read through the Oregon Health Authority public health guidelines that we have adopted in our goal to keep you and our staff safe. We look forward to seeing you virtually, or outside, this fall! If you need assistance with virtual programming, please reach out to our Volunteer & Event Coordinator, Sulaiman Shelton at Sulaiman.shelton@ashland.or.us.

We are pleased to announce the opening of the Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink in Lithia Park on November 21, 2020. We encourage you to visit our website ashland.or.us/IceRink, bookmark this page, share with friends and family, and check it BEFORE you head out to the rink… Schedules change daily. In order to keep you safe, we will follow the public health guidelines set forth by the Oregon Health Authority for outdoor recreation.

Ashland Parks And Recreation

The City of Ashland Parks & Recreation (APR) Department was established to provide recreational opportunities to improve the quality of life for area residents and visitors. Our goals are to strengthen the community fabric and sense of place for youth, adult, and visitor populations; to promote health and wellness; to foster human development; to increase cultural unity and to protect our valuable natural resources. APR meets these goals through preserving, maintaining, and enhancing our recreational facilities, parks, and open spaces while also coordinating engaging programs, classes, public events, and festivals.
