Imagine…early December and you enter the doors of an exquisite clubhouse and walk into the lobby. To your left is a beautiful, sparkling Christmas tree welcoming you to the inviting, warm room. A resident exits from an elevator laughing with a friend…you imagine yourself with one of your new friends. To your right your eye is drawn to a staircase with a gallery of pictures and photos leading to the top. You read names under the artwork…must be residents. You can imagine your art or photographs displayed there.
As you continue you are drawn by conversation and laughter. A blazing fireplace draws you forward where residents are gathered enjoying warm coffee and tea and homemade cookies. The furniture looks cozy and inviting…you can imagine yourself there sharing with others. You look to your right again and see a large room – Mt. Ashland Room says the sign. People are playing some sort of card game. Oh fabulous! They are playing Bridge…you imagine yourself at a table and your hands filled with playing cards. A few steps more and you see another fireplace and a library filled with real books and video tapes/cds and newspapers. Real, tangible books. You see a title of a book that you have read and imagine yourself curled up in front of the fireplace, fully consumed in reading.
What is that you hear? At the end of the hallway are voices. There is an exercise class going on. Looks like fun and you imagine yourself there. A resident comes out and asks if you would like to join them. You can’t right then but you are grateful for the invitation. You are told of another location at the community where there are more exercise and dance classes – The Center for Sustainable Movement. You are also told about the fitness/wellness center with indoor pool. You imagine yourself exercising with friends and feeling exhilarated!
You exit the clubhouse and enter the lobby of the information center and the Mountain Meadows Realty office. You want more information on this incredible community.
