Manzanita on Main – We’re One Year Old!

It is hard to believe that one year has passed already since we were busily remodeling the old Blue Heron Gallery space next to Agave and transforming it to be the home of our new shop, Manzanita on Main! We opened last year on May 14th, and gives proof to the old adage, “time flies when you’re having fun!” We have spent the past twelve months merchandising, tweaking, and discovering what this new venture would bring. My first vision of what Manzanita would be…a comfortable, warm shop featuring artistic and interesting products to enhance your homes and lives or to give as gifts, has been realized.  And I could not be happier with the positive comments from so many of you as you wander through the store discovering flambeaux pottery, unique pendant and table lamps, tea towels with mushroom or bicycle designs, a variety of mirrors and metal wall sculptures, all kinds and colors of accent pillows, floor coverings, mission style wooden clocks, irresistible jewelry… the list goes on! With Mother’s Day, graduation, anniversary, and wedding season upon us, I think a visit to Manzanita is a must for those looking for a distinctive gift. And you might just walk out with something for yourself as well!

I hope those of you who have discovered Manzanita continue to visit frequently and those who have not yet ventured in…. please come in and say “Happy Birthday!”  Maybe you will have found a new favorite shop! We are open seven days a week and are located at 90 N. Main Street, between Thai Pepper and Agave, right next to the Spice and Tea Exchange.  We hope to see you on First Friday if not before! Thank you to all who have contributed to the success of our first year in business.
