Due to COVID-19, the PlayGuide will not include recreation programming and will only be available in digital format. Please plan to join us for a virtual public meeting to discuss the Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool Renovation Draft Design Report. Representatives from Robertson Sherwood Architects will present the draft design. The meeting will take place virtually on Tuesday, December 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. If you would like to submit comments or ask questions ahead of time, please email them to tara.kiewel@ashland.or.us. The Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool was built in 1986 with the intent that it would serve as a seasonal community pool. Over time, the pool usage became more intensive than originally planned for. In 2018, Parks Commissioners formed a Pool Ad-Hoc Committee to review options for the pool. The committee met over the course of 6 months and formed a recommendation for the replacement of the Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool, which was subsequently approved by the Parks Commissioners. Based on the current state of the pool and the current demand for use, the committee made recommendations that were used to create the Draft Design Report.

APRC is seeking volunteers for special projects! If you are looking to beautify and improve our parks this winter, but feel more comfortable working solo, APRC is seeking volunteers to help with a wide range of projects. You could help with small fix-it projects, park maintenance, or even basic carpentry. All tools are provided, and hours are flexible.
